PP fiber Imitation steel wire

      PP steel-wire-like organic fibers are manufactured by special processing technology. With the special surface configuration and strong combination with the concrete, the fibers can be used to partly take the place of steel fibers in some constructions, and effectively reinforce concrete, improve the impact resistance, fatigue resistance, flexural performance. Compared with the steel fibers, the PP steel-wire-like fibers are alkali and acid-resistant, safe and easy to be used, and can avoid being corroded and rust, in addition, the fibers can reduce rebounding rate in shotcrete and, increase productivity. In some degree, PP steel-wire-like organic fibers have advantage over the steel fibers.

II. Performances of mortar or concrete reinforced by polypropylene fiber

      With the embossing surface, PP steel-wire-like fibers have a strong bond with the concrete so as to increase the cracking resistance and improve the flexural strength.

III. Applications

IV. Standard dosage rate and Mixing process

       4.5Kg per/cubic meter of concrete, the dosage can vary from 2.5-9Kg per/cubic meter of concrete according to actual applications. The mixing process is the same as common cement concrete, there is no special requirements, It is not necessary to change the mix proportion to concrete, But if PP fibers are added after mixing conventional concrete materials, 60 more seconds are required in order to make sure that fibers have a good distribution.
