Polypropylene
fibers are designed as a new engineering material specially used to reinforce
mortar/concrete and prevent them from cracking and water penetration. They are
manufactured by unique processes, and have very good performances such as
high chemical stability, high corrosion resistance. They can form structures
in three dimensional distributions after being put into mortar/concrete, and
enhance bond with mortar or concrete, therefore, they can effectively reduce
and prevent mortar or concrete from early plastic cracking and greatly
improve the frost resistance, plastic shrinkage resistance, reduce water

II. Performances of mortar or concrete reinforced by polypropylene fiber |

The
PP polypropylene fibers with trifoliate cross section are manufactured by
special technology, and the surface is also handled by special chemical
treatment, therefore, the fibers can be dispersed homogeneously and the bond
strength with mortar or concrete is greatly increased。Thus, the performances
of mortar or concrete are improved. As a kind of secondary reinforced engineering
material, the PP polypropylene fiber play an important part in improving
permeability and minimizing cracks as plastic concrete shrinks. |
